This historic homestead has been restored back to its formal glory, retaining as much of its original character as possible.  Keeping the authentic features of the ornate architraves and decorative ceiling roses was equally as important as modernising this home.

Repairing the earthquake damage included updating the bracing system to satisfy the current standards, a new concrete foundation and re-strengthening of the roof structure.  Along with the major renovation, a large extension to the rear of the home increased the kitchen's functionality.

Stripping & repainting the original timber weatherboard exterior, a brand new Colorsteel roof was selected to match the new extension.

Inside, the stunning wallpapers add personality to each room and create a statement in the foyer, kitchen, sitting room, formal dining room, master bedroom and upstairs and downstairs bathrooms.

'We were thoroughly impressed with the high level of dedication of all involved.. It really has been such a labour of love, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the result'.

This home restoration won a Master Builder of the Year Gold Award which recognises Excellence in workmanship, creativity and innovation.
